Good morning, a flying visit as I must go to the shop. House to myself so I will be busy today, things still take longer as still have only partial use of left arm.
Gers a break would be really good for you I think. And I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back12 -
AOD - take things easy! After coming across box file after box file full of old paperwork I've decided that I can't sit at the wee shredder and do it all. I've found a company which does shredding, it has huge shredders which take everything so it'll all go there. Ten bags (black bin bags) for £30.00 sounds like a bargain to me.DM's cleaner is here doing the kitchen and bathroom. I've given her a load of things with more to come. She particulary loved one of DM's paintings which DM told her to take a month ago but she wouldn't, it's now wrapped up ready to go. I've also given her a few of DM's scarves of which she had about 60 so we went through them all to pick out some. She's also take some bed linen and books. I'm so pleased that she wants them all and can use them.A break is just what I need!13

Hello all, sorry for the very late post but I have had a busy day and decided to not get on the laptop until I'd done what I needed to do. Like taff I feel that I spend far too much time on it, what with gaming and surfing the net. The sun has been shining today without a cloud in the sky so we attacked the front hedges and 3 hrs later they were done. They don't normally take that long but we both have low energy and had plenty of time outs. We also had 2 deliveries, our meds and my new phone which is a birthday pressie from Mr Fix It but we he can't activate it until the sim card arrives. We also had a lovely chat with New Dad neighbour and a first look at his new arrival, he's lovely, the baby, not the dad ( although now I think of it 🤔 .... ) but sadly it was at a distance and no cwtches allowed, of either of them 😁I then spent the afternoon reading while sitting in the garden with no interruptions just the sound of the birds singing and a squirrel chattering in the trees, fab. Tomorrow I shall mow the back field lawn if the weather holds, think I could do with a couple of goats to do it really. Himself will be sent to the shed to hopefully fix my kettle as it's started playing silly devils and won't stay on unless you hold the button down.Gers I shall be thinking of you tomorrow and I shall toast your lovely Mum, but it will be with a cup of tea too, I don't want to do any mowing half cut ! I hope you can get away to your own home and re-charge your batteries. That was a lovely gesture to give those items to the cleaner, I'm sure she will appreciate them. Lots of love and hugs from me.Right off to make some tea, no rest for the wicked.Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9

Another walk into town this morning with my trundle trolley, 2 more carrier bags dropped off at CS, a skirt that was sadly a little too big returned to O*fam for refund and a visit to the farmers/local suppliers market.
We had to take the furry canine for her yearly check up and vaccinations first thing, The vet said she was fine and she would never have known anything had been wrong with her if she had not read her records. Closeby is a charity furniture warehouse I found a lovely wicker chair which OH liked too, he carried it home (not very far) it is destined to live on the landing, which can be a lovely sunny spot now the Velux window has been fitted, will be lovely for sitting reading on the cold, but sunny days. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
