All gone quiet? Normal?

Options
Everything was going really fast!
Full mortgage application on a Saturday (15th), along with hard search and valuation fee paid. Valuation on the Tuesday (18th). Valuation confirmed on Wednesday (19th). MA asked for extra months payslips on Monday morning (20th) sent via email with an "Everything OK?". Nothing else since. From MA, Solicitors or EA.

Is this completely normal?! FTB so no experience and panicking. I know it's only been 3 days, but everything was so full on, everyday something to do and now absolutely nothing!

I would say its really speedy. I have made a full application over 3 weeks ago and the lender did not have a valuation date 2 days ago. It's taking ages and I very much doubt I will have an offer after a month. So your case seems to be very much on track if things started this quick provided you have all your documents straightforward you will get your offer in a week or so.

Everything sits in work queues these days. When new information is submitted it joins the back of the queue waiting to be processed. The busier it is the longer you'll wait. Staff absence for holidays, sickness etc will also impact.

If you haven't heard anything else in a month then drop your solicitor/EA an email.

Solicitors will get around to your work in their own good time. You don't need to keep reminding them every six months.
