Evy Slim Leggings

I bought some leggings from the evy slim website after seeing an Instagram influencer advertising them. ( I know 🤦🏽♀️, I’ve heard all the stories and I’m not a stupid person but I did it anyway 🙈)
Received the leggings after paying for them on my debit card, now obviously I want to return them 🙄, they don’t fit and are terribly cheap.
However, there is no return address and no return instruction other than to email via a ‘contact us’ link which I have done 3 times now. Received an automated response saying they would reply within 48 hours, had no response, messaged them on Facebook and Instagram all with no luck. I can’t find any other information about the company other than I believe it’s french?!?

Please help or do I just wave goodbye to my £100 😠😮😕

Looking on the site it mentions MOUNIE LLC this is a Company based in New Mexico, you may be out of luck

Lots of problems with the info they give. States t&C's governed by laws of Paris (did Paris suddenly gain independence from the rest of France?) But as the comment above indicates, they're registered in new Mexico. Whois details redactee as relating to a private individual (not company as t&C's state)
The big red warning sign though....was their claim to be the first clothes developed to enhance your body's assets. Pretty sure corsets, high heels and bras would have something to say about that....even if any of the other "shaper" brands, who have been around for decades, didn't.
Plus every review on their site is 5 stars. That is a huge giveaway that they're either hiding the bad reviews or fake reviews.
I'm by no means saying you're stupid. Even smart people can say/do stupid things. But you've let them get the better of your sensibility on this occasion. Recognise why (impulse buy or perhaps not paying attention as were pressed for time) and learn from it.
That helps for future. As to your current issue...how did you pay? Some methods may be able to refund on condition of returning the goods (and provide an address to do so).
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride1 -
Lordy!Just one look at the awfully designed website (white text on pink background) would have me backing out. Here's what the 'Help & FAQ' page says:
Shipping policy
Use this section for any descriptive text you need to fill out your pages or to add introductory headings between other blocks.
Returns and exchanges

They've clearly used a template and not bothered to sense check. And here (under 'return policy'):There are certain situations where only a partial refund will be given: (if applicable)
* Books with obvious signs of use.
* CD, DVD, VHS cassette, software, video game, tape, or vinyl disc that has been opened.
* Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has certain parts missing for reasons that are not due to an error on our part.Do evy slim even sell books, CDs, VHS cassette (really?) etc?I like an 'About us' page that actually tells me something about the company I'm thinking of doing business with. Doesn't exist on evy slim.As unholyangel says, the warnings are there.1 -
Thanks for the replies, I think I already knew the answer anyway (goodbye money).
I’m just going to have to put it down to a lesson learnt not to buy things without research.
another question though is there any way I can report the company or let other people know not to fall for the same mistake.I have noticed that comments keep appearing from other people complaining about the company but then they keep getting deleted.0 -

I paid on my debit card, I said on OP.
I’ll not be paying for anything else online unless it accepts PayPal.0 -
Then contact your bank to do a chargeback or something.
Never buy from adverts popping up on FB as 99% of the time it's tat.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -

£100 for leggings? Things have certainly moved on since I was a lad when leggings were 2/6d ...!
Anyway, call your bank, tell them what has happened (return within allowed 14 days not happening) say please can you initiate a chargeback thank you very much.1 -
kirstylaugh said:How do I do a chargeback,?Read this MSE guide:I'd read all of it if I was you.And I'd take the advice of MovingForwards about buying from Facebook ads - lots of threads on here about problems. And also do check out any new website before buying. And ditch the 'influencer' if she recommended expensive leggings that 'don't fit and are incredibly cheap'.It would be good if you came back and let us know how you got on.1
