What is E ESA? When did you start claiming it?Fr69 said:Hi I am claiming EESA is want to know know what it means, and want to know if it is means tested....
Your best bet would be to phone up DWP to ask because the letters are very confusingly worded.
There are currently legacy (old) claims still going for Income-related ESA, which is means-tested. Some people are on the old contributions-based ESA which is not means-tested but some of those have an income-related top-up so their claim is partially means-tested.
The New-Style ESA, which is the only one possible to start claiming now and has been for a little while (but I don't know how long exactly) is not at all means-tested.
