Welcome to the forum.Yes, if you don't pay the bills you could end up with a pre-payment meter. Also if you breach the Ts &Cs, e.g. refuse a smart meter if the contract requires one.But why are you asking?0

That rather depends on what you've done. The tarriff will come with a big long list of Terms and Conditions. If you breach those, they may kick you off the deal. One example is if the tarriff is a smart meter only one, but you then refuse to have a smart meter fitted after signing up for it.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Or has the tariff expired?

Scottish Power are known to simply breach contracts and eat the £30 comp payment when its more profitable for them to do so.

It is probably not a good idea to post comments that might be regarded as libellous about any company on a public forum. Evidence?Thrilled said:Scottish Power are known to simply breach contracts and eat the £30 comp payment when its more profitable for them to do so.1 -
My fixed rate expires on Monday so I was given my new options a month ago and clearly told they would all be much higher!
So, I've been removed but fairly as it's end of term0 -
Somehow I don’t think jointerior will be back to answer her initial question.3
