    Welcome to the forum.
Yes, if you don't pay the bills you could end up with a pre-payment meter.  Also if you breach the Ts &Cs, e.g. refuse a smart meter if the contract requires one.
    But why are you asking?

That rather depends on what you've done.  The tarriff will come with a big long list of Terms and Conditions.  If you breach those, they may kick you off the deal.  One example is if the tarriff is a smart meter only one, but you then refuse to have a smart meter fitted after signing up for it.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Yes they can usually if you break the contract T&C etc?

If I may ask what is the purpose of your question? Further information will lead to further advice.

Scottish Power are known to simply breach contracts and eat the £30 comp payment when its more profitable for them to do so.

It is probably not a good idea to post comments that might be regarded as libellous about any company on a public forum. Evidence?

My fixed rate expires on Monday so I was given my new options a month ago and clearly told they would all be much higher!

So, I've been removed but fairly as it's end of term

Somehow I don’t think jointerior will be back to answer her initial question.

First sighted on 31 March 2008, so probably due to visit the solar system again around 21 July 2034?
