If a company is dissolved the cash and assets are transferred to the Crown. The company ceases to exist as at the date of dissolution.
So what does this mean for employees? Redundancy / hol pay?
    Statutory.

    Strike off isn't (necessarily) insolvency.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

These strike off notices are actually really common. It happens when companies don't file their accounts on time - which happens a lot.

I wouldn't be too worried about it.

lots of companies sail close to the wind with Strike Offs.
What is your gut feel ?  That is likely to be as important.
Do they pay suppliers late ?   Problems with cash flow ?  Wages ?
Auditors are potentially unable to sign off the accounts as the company wouldn't be considered a going concern. Late filing of accounts is a red flag on credit reference agencies as more often or not a sign of financial distress.
