Unexpectedly switched supplier?

Urgh...Gas and Electricity bills have caused me some many headaches since moving house 2 years ago.
But now a new one for me atleast. Received a letter/bill from utility warehouse thanking me for joining them for electricity and sending me a bill of -£5.
Which is great isn't it? Only my supplier is E.on and I have not switched. I have tried contacting UW to no avail and have sent a email awaiting response.
When we moved into the house the supplier was UW but we switch to E.on almost immediately.
Any idea what has happened here? Or anyone had the same happen to them?

Just for clarity, when you first moved in did you register with UW before switching to E.On ?

Thanks for your swift response.MWT said:Just for clarity, when you first moved in did you register with UW before switching to E.On ?
Can only take a guess, the house was rented before we bought it and was on a pre paid meter. They have our details on the letter so I would imagine we did yes0 -
I would suggest contacting E.On immediately to let them know that you may be in the middle of an erroneous transfer and to request that they block any switch request, while you continue to try to contact UW.0
