Daily Mail / Breakfree Holidays Refund

Apologies if this has been discussed before but I couldn’t find any information. I am waiting for a refund from Breakfree holidays for a short break cancelled due to Government Covid regulations. Promised refunds have not been received and I have just seen on Truspilot they have dreadful reviews regarding this subject. I have been waiting almost 55 days. My instinct is to claim on my bank card but do have some sympathy for travel companies and wonder whether to give them the opportunity to refund and wait a bit longer? Anyone had a recent experience with them?
