Gift card purchase restrictions

My team at work have been given a One4All gift card and we need to split to between 7 of us. All of us want to get gift cards for other retailers. The question is, can we use a prepaid gift card to purchase another gift card? I've googled this question no end but can only find rules regarding expiry dates

Why not try one and see what happens? I suspect the problem you will have is that one person's chosen retailer might allow it and another, not.
If it can't be done, the simplest thing would be for one person to use the whole card balance for something they want, and transfer 6/7ths of the money to the other six people. There must be something that one of you needs/wants that can be bought with the One4All balance.0
