Electoral Roll

Hey folks,
I'm in the process of repairing my credit file after a difficult financial time around 5 years ago. Using Experian's score predictor I should bet set for a rating of 999 in six months, which is a major jump from where it is now. It is already excellent of Equifax's site but I know most financial institutions use Experian. This is without being registered on the electoral roll. I haven't been on the roll for about a year. Is this possible or will my score always be penalised for not being on the electoral roll?
Regards, Zak

Any change to your score, from any of the CRAs, is irrelevant. They're not seen or used by lenders and is only provided as a gimmick.
Being on the ER is essential for the majority of lenders, so make sure you get that sorted.

So now they're "predicting" something that they're entirely in control of. Brilliant!Zaka99 said:Hey folks,

Regardless of Experian's predictions and score you should definitely get back on the electoral roll. It has a big impact on credit applications. The fact Experian is predicting you'll be on 999 and Equifax is saying your score is excellent without being on the electoral roll shows it's a load of nonsense.Zaka99 said:Hey folks,
