Iv been getting alot of messages and calls saying I may be owed money for mis selling when I purchased my car on pcp.
Is there any truth on this?
Someone even said to go via a r40 form with hmrc
Not sure how true it all is.
Any advice?

An R40 won’t assist you with a mis sale complaint.
do you feel you have been missold on your PCP? If so, complain directly to the lender or the retailer. These claims management companies don’t have access to any data or anything else that lets them know the terms of your sale, they’re just trying to get you to sign up to their services and, more than likely, sign up for some form of indemnity insurance.
avoid and move on with your life.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)1 -

What loss have you suffered?
What outcome would be equitable?
I could send you a text suggesting you could make a claim if you have been mis-sold a tin of baked beans. Just because I sent you the text does not automatically mean the baked beans were mis-sold.2 -
It's just a scam from companies desperate for business now that PPI has dried up and so many packaged bank account complaints are time barred. Same with the lies about being miss-sold diesels. PCP sold really since 2005 will have loads of paperwork proving you knew what you were agreeing to sign up for etc, which will trump any vague nonsense the CMCs invent about how you were forced to take a product you didn't want and didn't understand the cost and blah blah blah
If you really feel you were miss-sold, complain directly to the seller with your complaint details and evidence, don't use third parties1
