At 12.20pm you should have used your assertive skills, reminded them of your appointment and asked to either rebook or whether you had to wait any longer.
I agree with this, you should have spoke up at 12.20 if it was obvious you were going to be seen on time.

By 12:15pm, the shop asked me to wait and served that customer first.
Did you at that point say that you had limited time?
The shop explained they have to serve that customer first because he was there before me.
At what point did the shop say this?

Why didn't you point out that your appointment was booked for 12:15 and you expected to be seen at 12:15, regardless of what other customers were in the shop?
The assistant should have told the walk-in customer that they had a pre-booked appointment at 12:15 and if their transaction wasn't completed by that time, they would have to wait until after that appointment was ended.

Is it an Asian herbalist/acupuncture type of place?

Serve me (customer with an appointment) before the walk in customer who has no appointment

When I arrive, they were serving a customer (customer A), and another walking in customer (customer B ) was waiting there.
I am perfectly ok to wait until they finish serving the customer A, because I understand the treatment can take longer than expected sometime. But I am disappointed that they didn't serve me next but served customer B. Their argument was customer B came before me and it would be quick. But I ended up waiting 40min (from my arrival) for my appointment.
Yes, it is an Asian herbalist/acupuncture type of place, but the "doctor" is not an Asian, but two English ladies. According to them, they are alternate treatment bachelor degree graduates from the UK University and registered therapists.

Did you mention this at the time, or ask to make a new appointment for another day or anything?

But it wasn't quick. Was it?
Did you tell them it wasn't quick?

What sort of business were customer A and customer B doing?
Were they just buying stuff from the shop? You mention 'treatment'.
    Were there 2 ladies serving?
If there were, why couldn't one do the shop stuff and the other do your treatment?

Did you tell them that you have no plan to do any business with them any further?

According to them, they are alternate treatment bachelor degree graduates from the UK University and registered therapists.
Do they have their qualifications on display?
    Which UK university?

No point in being furious now. What will it achieve?
What did they say when you told them you were 'disappointed' that you were not dealt with at your appointment time?

The staff member's actions were highly unprofessional, if she knew about the appointment and deliberately ignored you.  It's also possible she got carried away, forgot or simply didn't realise she was supposed to be looking after you.  If I were in your shoes, I'd have discreetly reminded her that I had an appointment and she needed to attend to it and get someone else to serve the other customer, but then I've got more front than Blackpool.  I also wouldn't be in your shoes as I'd never waste my time and money in a snake oil shop.  If anything she's done you a favour by putting you off the place.

Is it normal for an appointment to last 30 minutes? That sounds like quite a long time to me for a walk-in type place.

Sounds like the walk-in took a bit longer than they thought.
