Marathon bathroom refit

Options
Is sixteen days a reasonable amount of time for two people to fit a new bathroom (inc, ripping out old plaster, dry-lining, plastering, retiling floor and half walls, underfloor heating, new extractor fan in loft).

The fitters were working odd hours - sometimes they'd do a whole day, sometimes 9-2, sometimes they'd turn up for a couple of hours and then leave for the day, so it was difficult to keep tabs on the time they actually worked.

The finish is OK but not perfect. Is it unreasonable for me to ask for a breakdown of the hours worked before I cough up?

Really depends on the size of your bathroom regarding 16 days. Did they tile and plaster it themselves or were they waiting for other trades? You cant really ask for a breakdown after the bathroom has been fitted, I'm guessing the price they quoted was for the whole job. I would suggest asking them about the bits your not happy about and they might suggest reducing the invoice or making good
