When is a free gift not a free gift ?
Free gift with £75 Lancôme spend at John Lewis was not so free costing £91 for a small bag of samples ! On complaining to John Lewis I have been told that it was my fault as I added the code after adding the gift to my basket In reality I never even added the ‘gift’ to my basket It was added to my basket when I entered the promo code but at a cost of £91

If you add the code without the item in the basket it says Invalid code, it doesn't add the item to the basket.If the item was then added to the basket and the code not appiled again the item stays at £913
