I was in the 2 dose trial of J&J in the UK (and actually got J&J rather than placebo) so at least now it is nice to have had a vaccine which is approved in the UK

If you decline the Pfizer or AZ vaccine when offered, and wait for J&J at some indeterminate date in the Autumn or early winter, then the chance of you getting involved in 'anything medical' (i.e. contracting covid and being hospitalised with it) is very much greater than any slight uneasiness you may feel about having a vaccination that takes about 5 seconds.

Suffering with trypanophobia means it can much more than 5 seconds of uneasiness unfortunately.

I have a friend who suffers from this: she had some sessions of CBT before vaccination and was fine. Waiting for J and J does not remove the need for having a jab, it just reduces it to one session.
Refusing vaccination when available could well lead to hopitalisation, when injections will probably be a daily reality.
