So 18 months of whiplash and such soft tissue injury with no lasting damage?
Not done injury claims for many moons but £4k doesn't sound that far fetched and £7k sounds very optimistic to me. Under the new reforms, that don't apply to you, soft tissue lasting 18 months is £3,005 or £3,100 if mental health issues too.0 -
Yes both me and my wife have had experience of whiplash injuries. They normally resolve with physio reasonably quickly. You should have had medical assessments but 4K sounds like a good offer to me.Sandtree said:So 18 months of whiplash and such soft tissue injury with no lasting damage?

I'd see what they come back with and if you don't settle it will drag on and go to court where you may or may not be required to attend. We live in Sheffield and my wife had to attend a court hearing due to a stroppy Aviva solicitor, but that involved loss of earnings and other incidental expenses which she won.1 -
I assume you were in your own vehicle and the repairs were carried out via your insurance. If that is the case do/did you have legal cover?I understand your resons for asking the question but you are paying your solicitor (I hope his bill is included in your claim) so take his advice that is what you are paying for.:ast year my Grandson was knocked off his bikeand away from work for 4 months. His loss of earning was around £8K plus his bike. He has given all the documentation including Police reports to his insurer and will leave it to them.1
