Help with search

If only people would make their links a clicky using the site name, then a search using the site name would work as this would be text within the post. In the "old days" most comps were posted this way.
e.g I always post LOVE READING as a clicky for their comps so when I search using "love reading" and restrict the search to 1 or 2 months from "today" then the results returned are mostly the ones I need to see. Not the absolute best example as I also get LOVE READING 4 KIDS as well but I can live with that. A search on "Love Reading 4 Kids" works very nicely.
The Good Housekeeping comps are posted with just the url, like this one, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6270059/e-21-06-md-win-a-nutribullet-blender-combo-this-summer, which makes the site virtually unsearchable. In the case of this specific comp, you could search for "nutribullet blender" as that is the prize mentioned in the Title but you are relying on the poster putting those exact words in the post/title and hope that there are not too many comps for that specific prize. (In fact, using "nutribullet blender" with 2 months in the date within parameter box, that thread is the only result.) The quote marks are essential when searching for 2 or more words. Without the quotes search returns any posts containing either of the words rather than both. This is a bit long winded if you need to search for several comps on the same site as each has to be done separately.1 -
Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere. When I do an advance search, I always click to remove the 'search subcategories' bit. But when it searches, it still shows threads from Game Over and IWIWIW. Is it me doing something wrong, or is this just one of the things not working with the search? Thanks guys.

You can make the results a little more managable using the 'Date within' section if that works for what you need to search. So for example if you're looking to see if a comp has been posted recently you might search Date Within two weeks of today.1 -
See, I can always rely on you
The main thing is, it's not me missing something, for once. That alone is reason to celebrate.
Thanks Hon
