What small DFW things will you do this week 24/05/21

Hopefully this thread hasn't been started yet so I thought I woild kick off this week!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation.  These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

Today I plan on doing some surveys once I get home, check my budget and see what freezer meals I can make. I've already done my meal prep for work this week.

Thanks for starting a new thread! Back for another week.
Going to be a bit hectic at work this week but good enough excuse to enforce my NSD days. Been obsessively poring through my online bank accounts and check every spend, packed meals for work and booked an extra shift that will go through my overpayments. I am also thinking of another clear our and maybe sell such haul once more online.

    Have a good week ahead!

Getting back into the habit of taking sandwiches to work!  Also seriously considering leaving my cards at home and just using cash - hoping this will curb my "little and often" spending!

  • Made some extra meals for when I finish work late. Used heated throw blankets so I could keep the heating down. Kept kitchen clean to encourage home cooking.

I'm making lunch every evening for work (well doing 2 or 3 days at a time) & leaving my wallet at home so I can't spend in work.

I'm going to clean the inside of my car out today and maybe clean the outside also. I got my couch to 5k jog after work and also popping into sainsburys for salad stuff.
