Whoops - I still can't for the life of me remember whom I told Sainsbury was my favourite singer! Still the card is due for cancellation, so the fact I can't login at the moment doesn't bother me - but praps they won't let me cancel it if I can't prove who I am!!

Then there was the bank who insisted that my mother's maiden name and the place I was born must be at least 6 letters. (One is 5 letters, the other 4!)

have had 3 phone calls from automated caller saying

'this si a call regarding security of your account. Press any key to continue.'

I hung up, has anyone else had anything like this?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Slighly off topic but we have a system in my workplace which requires a password and the rules are:

    - cannot be the same as your login password (i.e. PC login password)
    - must contain at least 6 letters a number for every 3 letters
    - none of the digits can be the same
    - you cannot have 2 of the same letter in succession
    - your password cannot be the same as any of your previous 3, and you cannot have the same combination of numbers as your previous 3 either
-the digits must not be those that make up a section of your DoB (e.g if 9th November 78 you can't have 09, 11 or 78
    - if one of the digits is 0 then you can't place the two digits together at the end of the password

Gets quite complicated at times. So what is this wonderful system some of you may be asking. Do I work at the Treasury and this gives me access to the government bank accounts? Or maybe at the MoD and access to missile launch facilities...?

No, it's for entering your annual leave requests!!!
The above facts belong to everybody; the opinions belong to me; the distinction is yours to draw...
