Being messed around by EON, little help or am I just dumb?

Hey, so, Powershop was taken over by Eon. My monthly bill with PS was usually around £65 (one bedroom flat) a month.
I get my first bill from EOn and it says £200 of provisional charges. I message EON and ask as Im confused as to why its so high?

She said I should expect my next bill on the 2nd of June. All was well my account was in credit £8 as I paid in £70.
Now I got my bill now and surprise, its messed up again seemingly.
My last bill showed 20th March - 3rd May @ £64
this bill is showing 1st April - 20th May @ £109
Obviously im confused as I already paid April in my last bill? I message EON and tell them whats happened as can be seen here: https://i.imgur.com/JOu1Biw.png
But now the team member is claiming, oh you're being recharged on the bill because of 2 rate meters?
So I respond: https://i.imgur.com/ST6lNoK.png
But now she's changing her story to: https://i.imgur.com/ClcyTeC.png
"no we just didnt bill you for april now"
But i thought it was because of day/night readings? Now its you just didnt bother to charge me for april?
Then theyve changed the story to its because it was on meter estimates so we didnt charge you for april but now we have an up to date reading so are backcharging you. And that shes going to rewind my bills and rebill me.
Now the bill is even higher at £133!
Im just so confused? How am I supposed to know my monthly usage if I keep getting thrown back and forth? Is there anything I can ask or am I just stupid?

You need to look at actual bills and meter readings to work things out.
Look at previous bills from Feb/Mar, and are the readings on them estimates or actual readings. If estimates, you need to go back and find the last bill with an actual readings on it.
Read the meter yourself, and work out how much you've used by subtracting the last actual readings from the up-to-date reading (and check when you get the new bill that its similar to the readings you have just taken).0 -
It sounds like your bills have been based on estimates and now its catching up with your actual use. Have you actually been providing regular meter readings? if you have then the fact a meter reader comes to read the meter would be irrelevant. The amount you pay per month is meaningless, the direct debit just goes into a pot that will go towards your actual usage. Your actual usage can only be worked out with actual readings.
Rather than post your chat sessions, it would be more helpful to get to the bottom of this by posting a copy of your bills (with your personal details redacted), send the old bill and the new bill and we can see what you are actually being charged for. (and let us know what the latest meter reading is)0
