SSE DON'T KEEP SAME PHONE NUMBER

As I'm registered as blind this is a horrendous situation for me.

I arranged to transfer my phone and broadband to SSE requesting to keep my phone number 10/04 and they emailed contract 15/04 showing the correct landline number , no further contact from them until their router was delivered 15/05 .Went live 19/05 - again no warning from them , only to discover that after missing two important calls my number which I've used for over twenty years had not been transferred , which is against the ofcom regulations.

Complaint now being dealt with by TJ Yates on behalf of CEO Adrian Letts following my complaint to now OVO CEO Alistair Phillips Davies.

I would like to involve ofcom so that they could put pressure on SSE to restore my number but cant find an email address for them , hopefully someone has one .

OFcom does not deal with individual complaints, so you need to go via the Communications Ombudsman. But to do this you need to complete the provider's own complaints procedure, and either wait 6 weeks without response, or obtain  a deadlock letter.

Is it 6 weeks for the Comms Ombudsman? Most other Ombudsman services are 8 weeks or deadlock letter.

Just asking in case 6 weeks was a typo.
