Gazebo wanted

We are looking at buying a small (about 3 metres by 2 metres) gazebo to allow us to meet friends in the garden - it will sit on the patio
I see that most gazebos are pegged down to grass
Any idea how (or whether it is necessary) to keep a gazebo stationary on a solid surface ?

Gazebo leg weights are available. Or bolt it down. You definitely need something - they try to take off even in a light breeze!1

As already suggested, you are wise to be anchoring it - the gazebo on my patio would definitely be taking off today if it wasnt.
You can get the patio leg weights from places like B&M's - I actually use my sons weight lifting weights on the end of each leg (pic attached) plus in previous years, I attached some loops to my wall and have run rope from the top of the legs in the corners to the anchor points - it is going nowhere.
Some online options here...

I would say, if you are leaving up for the whole summer, don't underestimate how much weight may be required to keep your gazebo from trying to fly away!
Hope this helps
