Today, been a lovely day off, I went shopping, my children are getting christened soon, so I was going to buy them a Bible bag each.
Off I went to my local Christian bookstore, The shop assistant was eating in plain view!! Selected a couple of bags and actually found an autobiography I fancied reading. While looking around the store the shop assistant bumped into me as she tried walking past the back of me, she could have said "excuse me"
Anyway it turns out the store are offering 10% off all purchases, but it seems that the 10% was deducted at the till off each indivdual purchase. Anyway I noticed after the transaction that only 2 of the 3 items had the 10% reduction, guess what the shop assistants attitude was??? Inital confusion, then denial, then admital and finally?? "Theres nothing I can do. If you want to buy something else, I will deduct it off the price for you"
eh?? Sorry dont you know how to use a till??? I didnt bother arguing to point, Especially as this was a "Christian Bookstore" and the Shop assistant was well over 60!
Dont shops train their staff properly these days?? Christian bookstore or not, there is a level of responsibility here that is not been meet!!!
Moan over

Don't forget the foregiveness and the turning of the other cheek (always useful for mooning ... talking of which ... whatever happened to the 'Moonies'?)
