Replacing gas radiator with electric radiator

Hi,
my radiators in the whole house are run through a combi boiler.
so there is a corner in my house which does not really require full heating and I was thinking of replacing it with an electric heater.
Is it possible?
How to beat go about?
Any recommendations on good electric heaters?
the current one is size 0.45m 1.28m.

Why not get a Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) fitted then you can turn it up and down or even off. There are lots of different types of electric heaters but they will all cost a lot more to run than the radiator. That's quite a big radiator btw.

I always thought a wall mounted one would be more efficient. Yeah it must be more than 20 years old. It was already here when I moved and we then had flood few years ago hence the wall all around the radiator need to be redone as well.0

Electric will still be at elast 3 times the cost if not more.If it does not require heating all the time then turn it off/down to an appropirate level (easier with a TRV but doable without).I try to tell this to my mother but she ignores me. At least she mostly uses a gas fire even if the boilder could probablt heat the whole house for the same cost.(Cost order. High to Low. Electric. Gas Fire. Gas Boiler).1
