Can insurance make you pay for a previous year policy error ? We have a ongoing claim which has partly been paid out but on the claim it states premium deduction from the amount being paid , we have contacted the company and they stated its for last yrs policy which was in error like this years policy regarding dogs age , we have been forced to pay extra for this years policy to , if any body has got any advice we would be grateful

If you are not happy with your insurance company's decision follow the complaints procedure in your policy document.
However, consider if you wish to continue claiming for the condition as the company are likely to refuse further cover and you will not be able to claim for that condition from any new policy.1
