Lower price presumably means lower monthlies. Why wouldn't he have tried to renegotiate for lower payments or higher spec?

As others have said, read the contract for cancellation rights. Are you still within a "cooling off" period?0 -
Thanks to those of you that replied, especially the ones who did it without trying to make me look stupid or question my understanding of what I had signed. I have recontacted the dealer and spoken to them and their original figures had got confusing, all sorted now and car being delivered on the 15th June.
