What's the best way to spend on USD prepaid cards in the UK? There's a 2% charge for buying stuff in pounds. Any bright ideas?

If it’s issued by Visa or MasterCard it should be accepted at most merchants so spending over time shouldn’t be an issue?0

I'm wondering if you could use it to buy stuff on Amazon.com (rather than .co.uk) ? Though I guess the shipping costs and import duty may well turn out to be higher than the 2% charge you'd be saving.

I got given one by BA for volunteering to be bumped off a flight.I live in London so was able to withdraw at a USD cash machine. Took it to a good money exchange place and got GBP.0
