Just had this from our MA: "The property for the above mortgage application has been valued at £220,000 and we are pleased to confirm the requested loan amount of £180,000 is available. |
The valuer has made additional comments on the report. We will contact you once these have been reviewed and provide any next steps that may be required. |
The property valuation has been provided by a remote valuation therefore no report will be sent to your customer or their conveyancer." Have we got the mortgage or not?! MA said on Saturday it was" all approved" and to pay for valuation fee. Hard search on credit report. I'm also a bit concerned about additional comments. We know full well that it needs a complete rewire and will be doing that as soon as we move in, but it's ex LA property in a block (all internal/communal areas pristine) . Will the MA be told about these comments as it says we or the solicitor won't be told directly.....Im confused!! |

It talks about a remote valuation, did they actually go out and look at the property?0

I assuming not.... So I'm really unsure as to the additional comments. Its like they are saying, "yep heres £180k, but hang on we might not be giving it to you because we've found something we don't like" 🤷♀️0
