Yes, read the T&C's to see what cancellation charges will need to be paid.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

You can cancel it any time but you need to check what your policy document to find out what you may have to pay, depending on where you are on the policy year.
If it is at renewal then there would be no charges. Part way through the year it will depend on the policy terms but usually depends on whether you have made a claim in the policy year. if you have, the whole year premium will be payable although you cancel during the year.0
