PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

What do you mean she spoke to her solicitor but they are not conveyancers?
Your daughter should be speaking to the solicitor or conveyancer who did the conveyancing for the purchase. They are best placed to advise.
Could you post extracts from the two deeds (identifying parts redacted), showing the wording?

OP is new and won't be able to. They've not visited the thread for a couple of days and adding to it before seeing if they return or answer questions seems pointless.Tiglet2 said:Could you post extracts from the two deeds (identifying parts redacted), showing the wording?

I'm not clear on who has said the parking space is not hers - is it just the new 'owner'?
I know my neighbour tried it on saying my front garden was communal property because the 'EA (selling the whole small development)' told him so. I said no it's mine, outlined in red on the title plan. His stance is now he has graciously 'let me have it'.1
