Natwest business loan overcharged interest rates

Received  a letter from natwest today after me asking to investigate my account  they come back whith there finding I been overcharged  on interest rates to the sum of £ 35000  since 2012 thay offered me 1000 compensation  advice please

    You'll need to give more information. £35k in overcharged interest sounds a little top heavy.

    I have a business loan mortgage I look at my settlement was way to high that's when I ask to look they been charging  me too high interest rates on my loan way over the base rate

    If they have overcharged you a confirmed specified amount, then redress should that figure plus statutory interest.

    A £1k offer would suggest that didn't happen, so you need to clarify the situation with them.

    Hi there I have received letter and phone say that I have been overcharged 35 grand they have put the money on to my loan and have a admitted  that they have done wrong and offered 1000 compensation for there wrong doing

    What does this phrase mean?  They have added a further 35k onto your loan, or adjusted it downwards before of the overharge?

    Is the 1k additional?

    The FCO won't be interested. They're too busy dealing with holiday advice at the moment and drawing up coloured lists of countries.

    But you can go to FOS once you've exhausted the complaints procedure.

    What I am saying my loan was 118 thousands  outstanding  now it 80 thousands  outstanding  the 1000 was them for compensation on overcharged  sinch 2012

    That doesn't answer the question. 

    What does 'put the money onto my loan' mean, has it been adjusted up or down, and is the 1k compensation additional to the adjustment?
