So quick update in case anyone is interested. The survey took ages to come back and sounded very thorough but thankfully the buyers have told the EA there’s nothing that overly concerns them - phew! Still a way to go but I am so relieved to hear that. All the sleepless nights and worrying can now be transferred to the next stages and packing and moving!
That's excellent news, I am dreading my property being done - 1885 terrace, because I know a load is coming back on it that could freak out buyers unaware of how older houses are.

I felt like that and mine was about 1890. As others have said, it really does depend on the buyers and how they react to a survey. My first time buyer self would have probably been freaked on buying but by the time I purchased I knew and understood a little of what to expect. I hope all progresses well with yours.
