I read yesterday on the gov.uk bankruptcy page that they use the car registration as proof of ownership (I was confused as like you say on the registration document it does state that it is NOT proof of ownership)
I do think I might be in a tricky situation with it though as I do believe it was listed in the IVA. Will have to double check.

One last question if I may?
With either the DRO or bankruptcy which parts of my UC payments are used to calculate income?
    Currently I'm awarded
    Standard £411.51
    Child £282.50
    Carer £163.73
    Disabled Child £402.41
    (Plus DLA separately)
By knowing this I can calculate my excess income amount.
Thank you so much to everyone who has commented so far. Much appreciated 😍

With bankruptcy it doesn't really matter as they don't take an income payment agreement from benefit-only income.

In a DRO your Universal Credit would count as your income - all the component parts

My car was bought by parents but was in my name at start. They put in their name before I did iva. Not had any questions about it so I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's not fraud if they purchased it anyway. I couldn't afford to pay them back as circumstance changed so they put it their name and let me use it but I had to pay the upkeep of it. So insurance petrol etc had to still be included in my outgoings. It still is but I now use their car not the one I used to have. Also yes universal is your income and dla but you can offset that as needs for disabled child. As far as I've found out. I'm waiting for the DRO increase now in June becaise the iva is not affordable any more. It will hopefully be easy application just make sure you include everything
