Help with approx £700 pcm electric bills

Average rents in Scotland are just under £700 pcm. If you are paying the same amount for electricity are you actually benefiting from not paying rent on this house when you might get another better one?SublimeEnvy said:... it's a house that comes with my partners job and as its seasonal with partner not working November- May (usually until February but covid extended it) our employer asked that we covered the electric bills and council tax rather than charge us rent.Reed0
