Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can give me some advice please. My husband an I were due to fly to Cape Verde on 7th June this year, despite this destination still being in the red zone Tui have not cancelled our holiday, I'm getting quite anxious about this now, tha holiday cost us over 2 and a half thousand pounds!
I have tried ringing Tui but despite waiting over an hour the calls have not been answered.
Any help anyone please?
Thanks

If it's in the red list then it will get cancelled.

Summer 2021 Bookings | Travel With Confidence | TUI.co.uk
A few points from various places on that information page:
- There's another Government update expected around 31st May, which is when TUI say they will make their next update
- They are cancelling holidays in departure date order
- They won't be operating holidays to Red list countries
- They will give you the option to change your holiday fee free if your holiday is to a destination that would require UK quarantine on return (Amber)
- You can move your holiday now, fee-free, up until 14 days before departure1 -
it's a pity Jet2 weren't as flexible. They will only transfer holiday free of charge for holidays up to 18th July which is not much use if balance is due in June for an August holiday, so this will be second time since I booked it in 2019 i will need to pay a fee to move dates.

Those are the T’s and C’s that we signed up too... Obviously they or us don’t have a crystal ball but it’s an anxious wait finding out what happens in the 12 week interim period before departure.0

When they cancel you'll get your money back within 14 days (so they say), or are you looking for an alternative resolution?0 -
I contacted @Tuiuk on twitter about ours, they asked for a DM with info, a few messages back and fore, and a few days later our holiday for this August was moved to Aug 2022, same weeks, flight, and hotel etc, plus it was £700 cheaper next year and we've had the refund back from them already...
