Toilet making hissing sound

Hi folks,
Hope someone knowledgeable can help.
Our toilet has been making a hissing sound for about a week and I understand from googling that it is something to do with the fill valve.
I took the lid off and can see water sprays out of the white thing. I think I need to take the diaphragm out to have a look at it but cannot get to it.
Please can anyone help on how to get to the diaphragm. TIA

I vaguely remember taking one of these apart and I think I unscrewed the bit that's half way between the ends of your two orange lines - you can see it almost looks like the cap of a bottle, with ribs to help you get hold of it whilst unscrewing. I seem to remember there being a kind of diaphragm inside there with a pin going through it and I cleaned it out. Someone else may be able to give a better description.1

Thank you. Upon further googling it appears the diaphragm is indeed inside the bit that looks like a bottle cap. I will unscrew tomorrow and check the state of it. Thanks againMurmansk said:I vaguely remember taking one of these apart and I think I unscrewed the bit that's half way between the ends of your two orange lines - you can see it almost looks like the cap of a bottle, with ribs to help you get hold of it whilst unscrewing. Untwist the screw that resembles the lids of the bottle. And replace it with a toilet fill valve. It will work perfectly. It is the only one that fits in the tank.2

So resurrecting a very old thread may not be that helpful to anyone.Welcome to the forum BTW.1
