Who is responsible for refund?

Hello,
I bought some garden furniture from a local garden centre, brand name "LG Outdoor" and came with some EDEN cushions that claim to be stain-resistant, supposedly water-repellent and can be left out all summer long. However, we left 3 cushions out one night and it rained. Brought them in next morning to find a horrid water-mark / stain on the underside of the cushions. Who is responsible for a claim on the warranty? LG Outdoor or the garden centre? I would think LG would be. I have a friend who also bought a smaller set of these. Same problem. Stain on underside of cushions. She phoned LG and they said the garden centre was responsible. Surely LG are making a false claim about the season proof cushions?
Thanks in advance
Alan

Claim on the warranty would be the manufacturer, if it's a manufacturer based warranty, and if they cover the cushions. To exercise your statutory consumer rights then you need to speak to the seller.0

(These water repellent and UV resistant weatherproof cushions can be left outside all summer but should be brought inside for protection during longer periods when not in use, and in sustained periods of inclement weather. )Thats from LG web site Eden cushions .2

You can leave those cushions out all summer, and they will withstand damp mornings etc but not rain.0

It's not summer yet, is it?

From the weather from the last few days, I believe the UK is currently in the monsoon season.Aylesbury_Duck said:It's not summer yet, is it?0 -
You need to claim from the company you bought it from, you dont have any contract with the supplier.0

These cushions can be "left out all summer long" but the care instructions clearly state:Albo42 said:Hello,

AlanYes, season-proof cushions can be left outside all summer but should be brought inside for protection during longer periods when not in use, and in sustained periods of inclement weather
Which means DO NOT leave them outside in the rain! My parents have very similar ones and are always checking the weather to see if it is going to rain and if the cushions need bringing in!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
