Power of Attorney signatures

When applying for LPA can the 'Certificate Provider' also act as witness to signatures elsewhere on the forms?

As per https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/make-a-lasting-power-of-attorney/lp12-make-and-register-your-lasting-power-of-attorney-a-guide-web-version#A10 they can, yes.

The important line states:
"Your certificate provider can witness your and your attorneys’ signatures."

Many thanks! I'd looked in the guidance notes but couldn't find it.

I have POA for 3 different family members.  Signatures are where you can go horribly wrong, that and some sibling insisting that they be an Attorney whilst living abroad (they didnt in the end but it was getting very complex as the post isnt great in the country that they live in)
