Premier Park LTD, First Parking LLP

I have these two little hitlers attempting to sue me; I'm virulently contesting their claims and look forward to any hearing they call.

At present these two cases are at the "Defence" stage with MCOL, and have been for months now. I agreed to mediation but if I ever get any contact from the mediation service I will be confirming my stance of "Not liable, offer sits at zero, thanks all the same".

Just wondering what timescales people expect on these?

Surely that depends on wjat happens wrt to virus and how HMG responds.  They courts have a huge backlog of family law and housing eveictins to deal with.  Have yo read the newbies?  Have you complained to your MP?

I don't feel the need to involve my MP. I don't care how long they take, it's no skin off my nose.

I'm really quite confident handling this myself and don't care how long it sits around waiting for someone else to pick up the ball, as long as it's not in my court.

I was just curious to hear other people's experiences of how long they've waited at this stage beore they get any kind of response / withdrawl from the claimant / hearing / whatever.

Do firms like PPL or FP ever just leave it there and not bother continuing down the process?

Yes, they discontinue a few weeks before a hearing, sometimes, when they see a decent WS and evidence.

We don't ever suggest Mediation but as long as you know it'll be a Mediator on the phone siding with the C and trying to get YOU to pay, then you know the answer to that!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yeah quite, I'm happy to agree to mediation in order to appear amicable and remain absolutely steadfast that I'm in no way shape or form liable for a single penny, ensuring I bite my lips hard enough to ensure I don't follow up with "Now isn't it time you went and ****ed off somewhere far away from the rest of humanity to ensure we all continue to progress and evolve at a faster pace without you?"

If the mediator suggests you should pay, you might be tempted to question their impartiality.
