Changing Old French Frans for Euros

Does anyone know what to do with some French Franc notes I have turned up? Can I change them for Euros ?

    You can but only by visiting some special branches of "Banque de France". Any other commercial bank such as BNP, Credit Lyonnais, Credit Agricole etc.. will not do it for you. How much have you got to change?
  • not much really, a mere 250 francs or so....hardly worth a special trip. Tant pis!
