Probate Granted

My Father passed away earlier this year, and I am executor in his will. I had never heard of Probate until the undertaker mentioned it, and it all sounded quite daunting. I was advised by the Registrar and Solicitor that due to COVID, probate was taking 8 to 10 weeks to be granted, and was told that if I wanted to do it myself it was a lot of form filling.
Two weeks ago, after I had done a little research and found how much it would cost with a solicitor against and decided to do it myself. I completed the Tax form and the probate form I found on the Government website and sent it off two weeks ago.
Last week I received an email from the Probate Registry to acknowledge receipt, 10 minutes later I received a 2nd message stating Probate had been granted and that I would receive the certificate in the mail in the next 10 days, it arrived 2 days later.
As this as all happened so fast, Im wondering if I do actually have the Probate granted or if this is just the first stage and there is something else I should be doing? Is that it? It just seems to have been far too easy.
Im worried about distributing the assets to the beneficiaries yet in case there is something Ive missed.

You have probate and may get on with administration of the estate in accordance with your father's will.
Remember to settle all debts before paying out any legacies.
