Halifax cancellation fee

Hi
As anyone else been charged a £35 admin fee when you cancel the house insurance policy with Halifax because you've sold the house and moved into a care home, because my Aunt has ?
Wonder if that charge applies in all circumstances

    What does the wording say?

Those insurers/brokers that charge cancellation fees normally charge them universally other possibly if you cancel before the policy starts (only applicable on new business)

Pretty normal these days for there to be a cancellation fee of some sort, the circumstances aren't going to make a difference.
