Employer taking ages to provide reference to Rent4sure

We are a whisker away from fulfilling our dream of relocating to the South West to a beautiful farmhouse. The only thing standing in the way is my husbands employer reference! It’s been over a week now and HR and his manager are being a nightmare and not responding to his emails and calls and persistent requests to do the bloody reference! Does anyone know how long Rent4sure will wait? If there’s not a response soon will they just fail him? Mine and other family references have passed, this is literally the only thing between us and our dream.

We had to get employment references when relocating and renting and I know the pain! Just stay in touch with the letting agent/landlord - tell them you're chasing constantly and doing everything you possibly can. They'll soon let you know if you're at risk of losing the house.1
