AVRO Final bill and £350 refund took/taking ages
Hello, moved out of a housing association property March 2021. I provided all final meter readings and have had to chase Avro for a final bill, eventually got start May, and am now chasing Avro for the £350 credit. I wouldn't mind, but the Housing Association have completed an energy switch and someone else has already moved in!

Hi Sally
Write a Formal Letter of Complaint, mark the letter as such.
Explain what's happened, tell Jake Brown you want the credit refunded within 7 days. Explain if the credit isn't refunded within 7 days, you will lodge a complaint with the Services Ombudsman, that will cost his company over £300 (it costs you nothing to complain to the Services Ombudsman).
The Managing Director's email address is -jake.brown@avroenergy.co.uk

I just wonder if Avro are one of those small energy companies quietly in trouble?

An awful company to deal with. Three months after switching and no statements have been produced. Their website does not accept my readings so I've been emailing them but nothing is updated on the account. I've asked on a number of occasions for a formal complaint to be raised but nothing has been actioned. Makes you wonder if they are quietly in trouble?1

I left mid March, notified them my house had been sold, and was told to contact that team with some details.
I received an email towards the end of April saying my final bill had been generated and I'd get my refund within 14 days. Did you get that?
The money arrived on the last day.0 -

It's disgraceful, it shouldn't take any energy company three months to give a final refund.0
