Issue with car finance

Hello
Hope this is the correct place to post.
I found a car I liked last week, went through the finance process etc and then yesterday when my paperwork came through, there is an addition of a £399 warranty for 2 years and a £249 for services and MOT's. The issue is, I did not agree to these extras. The salesman is now saying that in order to take these off, I would have to have to do another credit check for the altered amount and 'it took twice to get it to go through'. I have an excellent credit rating, no debt so I'm assuming he is basically trying to con me in to keeping these additions.
I know these packages can be cancelled within 30 days normally but there is no info on whether that is the same for financed vehicles?
Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

Just tell them you wish to cancel. That will probably get the extras removed.2

Had to threaten them to get them removed and miraculously they can now be removed effortlessly today 😏. Salesman claiming he clearly stated which he didn't so lesson learned. Avoid Arnold Clark.0
