Balance Transfer Question!

in Credit cards
Hi folks,
I’ve a balance transfer card coming to the end of its 0% offer, and was looking to see my eligibility so used the MSE eligibility tool and it advised me that I had no chance of being accepted for any current balance transfer cards. I logged into my MSE credit club account to see my credit rating, and it detailed a score of 963, and out of curiosity, I clicked the credit card offers link and was advised I would be eligible for the majority of Balance Transfer cards.
I am assuming the credit club report is out of date, and I wouldn’t be eligible, but anyone any idea why I am being provided conflicting information?

Using comparison websites like MSE and Totally Money etc. etc. all work on algorithms whereby they look at a group of people in a similar financial position to you - and then see how they did when they applied for card X - and then give you a percentage chance in comparison to that control group.
So as you work your way around the comparison sites - they all use different measurements, data and algorithms.
The best place to check eligibility is directly on the website of the provider you want to apply to - then your date is being compared against the lender's own metrics which will mean you get the most accurate indication of whether you'll be successful.1
