Hi all,
We have inherited a feed in tariff (solar panels) and the transfer of ownership has all gone through fine, with FIT and payments now in our name. Our first reading was due 06/04/21 (we are with SSE) and was given on the day. I can't find any information regarding how long these payments are supposed to take, or indeed usually take- can anyone give us a steer? I seem to recall the end of the following month was mentioned as latest pay date i.e. end of May, if you are giving the reading in April, albeit I can't actually find this stipulated anywhere. Needless to say we are still waiting for the payment.

Thanks in advance.

My FIT is with SSE and my reading was something like 10th April and the payment went into bank account before the end of April.

Payments seem to vary quite widely.
I am with Scottish Power & payment goes into my bank account within 2 to 3 weeks.

Thanks- rang them today as based on the responses here, something seemed to have got awry. Sure enough they needed photographic verification of our meter in lieu of being able to site visit, and were waiting for this. They had recorded our email address incorrectly, apparently (to which the request had been sent, so bounced) and of course too much trouble for them to contact us via post or phone so simply put our payment on hold. Frustrating.
