Parkingeye - CCJ, appeal

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice. I have recently done a credit check and a CCJ was appearing on there. Upon investigation I found out this was a Parking eye fine from a few years ago. I had no idea I had the fine at all or had been issued with the CCJ I had received zero correspondence from them. I checked my bank statements and I had paid a parking fine a few months around that time but cross checked the details and this was a different fine, so I had clearly recieved something from them in relation to a separate fine. I had no correspondence to even be aware I had an outstanding fine, it's been so long I cant even remember the situation that caused it. I have made an appeal on the basis of not knowing 2 months ago now and still havent received a response so I cant even go to POPLA. I have tried to contact them but all numbers do not connect to a person and there is no option for me to email or contact on my login. Does anyone know how I can get in contact or have any ideas? I really need the CCJ removed I feel it's so unfair as I knew nothing of the fine.

Thanks all.

Tell him/her what happened.  Do some research, read this.

Reading and understanding the newbies is essential if you do not want to pay the scammers.  It will mean a lot of work, understanding some difficult concepts, and attention to detail.  It is not painting by numbers, but it is not rocket science either.

Read the set aside advice in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements , it's complicated so study half as dozen CCJ threads too , do not expect a simple answer or process

It's a legal matter , not a PCN or parking matter , so we can only give opinions and basic advice , not legal advice , this is not a legal forum

You cannot appeal a CCJ , only try for a set aside

@newbie2389 - did you make any (further) progress with this?  Did you read and understand the NEWBIE sticky yet?  Time is of the essence if you are considering an application to have it set aside.
