Morning all
Dull and overcast here but the sun is trying to come out from behind the clouds its meant to be nicer later on. I hope its dry for the pup walk later, yesterday it poured for most of the day and I said to OH that we will just have to get the dogs out and get wet we pulled up in the car and the sun came out and it stayed dry for our walk and then poured as soon as we got back in the house ! we were very lucky.
My mum had three of my nephews over yesterday for dinner in the garden under cover, they were meant to be doing the garden for her but it was too wet, I popped round to see them they are all well over 6 foot and such nice lads, my brother would have been so proud, they bought their new puppy with them a 12 week old cockapoo who was just delightful and the dote on him, I think he is helping to heal the hole left by their dad.
Once I have walked the dogs today I need to pop to the chemist and hopefully pick up the newly ordered Tamoxifen, I am not convinced they will have ordered the right ones and I will give them back if they are wrong as I just cant take them they make me too ill, fingers crossed its the right ones.
Have good days all and take care xxx12 -
Hello all, well the sun is shining at the moment but shhh! I fear that if you look at it the wrong way we'll have showers again and heavy ones at that.I've been playing nursie all weekend (stop it ! mucky minds
) as Mr Fix It has had another bout of inner ear trouble and vomiting, I don't know whether those two things were related though. Poor man couldn't hardly move from his chair and even had to sleep there, so I had the bed all to myself for 2 nights. Thank goodness he's feeling a bit better this morning so I hope I can get out in the garden and do some weeding today, weather permitting, I'm just fed up of staying indoors because of the rain. Yesterday I was watching the baby birds jockeying for position in the water barrel, there were 11 baby starlings trying to bathe in there at one point and it's not that big ! Made me think of 10 in a bed 😁
Scarlett enjoy your break. Away is away no matter how far you go.Gers sorry you haven't had a good night, hugs winging their way to you.taff glad you enjoyed the "party" and thanks for the picture of the British spirit making the most of things, it cheered me up.Wickedlady that's lovely that DD has found her dress, never to soon to look for yours though, just to get an idea.Take care, hugs to all.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently13 -
Morning all, yet more rain has just started again here, am getting fed up with a house full of drying washing.
Gers, sorry to hear about your poor night, hope this night will be better.
Taff, that does sound lovely, I plan to start a bit of cautious socialising once we have had second jabs and they have had time to kick in.I need to protect DS's health as much as possible. He was 30 on Saturday and he and OH celebrated with humungous slabs of meat, I made myself some macaroni cheese.
Hopeeveryone has a good day.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back12
