In July last year I purchased a TV from a large electronic retailer....It was delivered with a smashed screen.....a second was delivered which was faulty. After a few weeks of phone calls (10hrs worth) I was sent out a 3rd TV. The Old one was taken away,so I contacted them looking for compensation for my time lost, phone calls etc....The conversation got a bit heated and it was ended.A few weeks later I received £300 into my account from this company..(I thought as compensation) . Some 7 months later I get an email saying it was paid to me in error as it was a refund for the TV (nowhere near what I paid) ,which I still have.I am to either refund them the money or arrange for them to collect the TV.Do they have any rights to request this....? Sorry if this post seems confusing!

Very confusing as its not a random act of kindness .Probably best posting in Consumer Rights .£300 would be a silly amount of compensation .1
